International education recruitment
We take agencies’ students from application to enrolment.
EC World sits between recruitment agencies and the universities they place students at. Our team screens every application, takes it to the institution, and stays with it through the offer, the confirmation and the visa.

A recruitment partner that screens before it sends
We represent institutions in the markets we know. You receive applications already checked against your requirements, from agencies we have approved and continue to monitor.
Agencies
One place to apply, and a team behind every application
Place your students across our partner institutions, follow every application to the visa decision, and earn a share of the commission when a student enrols.
Where we place students
Three destinations, known properly.
We would rather represent a country well than list a dozen we barely cover — institutions we hold agreements with, requirements we keep current, visa rules we check against the source.
How it works
Five stages, and somebody accountable at each one
Recruitment goes wrong in the gaps — an application sent with a document missing, an offer nobody chased, a visa deadline that passed. We close the gaps by owning the whole path rather than handing it on.
- 01Agency
The agency applies
A counsellor picks the course and intake and submits the student with their documents.
- 02EC World
We check it first
Every application is screened against the course requirements before a university sees it. Incomplete ones go back, not forward.
- 03EC World
We take it to the university
We hold the relationship, chase the decision, and handle the questions that come back.
- 04EC World
Offer, deposit, confirmation
Through the offers, the tuition deposit, and the CAS, I‑20 or CoE the destination requires.
- 05Student
Visa and enrolment
We follow the visa decision to the end, and the student enrols. Only then does anyone get paid.
How we are paid
Nobody is paid until a student actually enrols.
The university pays EC World commission on an enrolment, and we pass a share of it to the agency that placed the student. An agency’s share becomes payable once the university has settled our invoice — not before — so what an agency sees owed to them is money we have actually been paid.
- 01
Student enrols
Commission is recorded against the application, in the university’s currency.
- 02
We invoice the university
Grouped by institution, with a number that is never reused.
- 03
The university pays
The agency’s share moves from on hold to payable.
- 04
We pay the agency
In a payout they can see, with the bank reference against it.
Our platform
Riseway is where the work happens.
Our partner agencies work in Riseway: a course catalogue they can search, applications they can follow stage by stage, documents in one secure place, and a direct line to the EC World team looking after each university. We built it, we run it, and it is free to the agencies we work with.
